Unto Glory, Unto Victory

It’s Monday.

Our Father has me in a state of pure wonder. His Holy Word is just magnificent. Having a prophetic gifting, when God pulls me into that space I experience a tension in my body. It feels like I am in two places at once- here but simultaneously aware that something spiritual is going on.

It is fascinating because my stomach knots and it seems like my body disintegrates into matter. I guess it is like seeing heat rising off hot tar in summer.

Anyhow, with a poorly made coffee on hand- too watery- irrigation hissing in the garden and early risers zooming past to miss the traffic, God and I are having a moment.

This beautiful Monday, 06:25 am, Johannesburg, South Africa, God wants to inspire us.

“Chin up. Eyes forward. Lilt in your step. Power in your execution of Godly intention. Go with joy.”

So, how is God going full tilt, reminding you and I to push forward with glee?

Ezekial 41.

Reading God’s Word, The Holy Spirit tugs on my heart, and mind to notice the curiosity of the two-faced creatures looking at palm trees. Immediately, I am aware that this prophecy in Ezekial can only mean Jesus.

LET ME EXPLAIN……

In Revelation 5 vs 5, we see Jesus proclaimed as ‘The Lion of Judah’. It refers to His lineage, and Him being THE GREAT LEADER of humanity. Ezekial’s vision is prophetic of the duality of Jesus coming as God in human form, although His victory, predestined, is as Messiah King, Saviour of the world, glorified with ALL power on heaven and earth, seated at the right hand of The Father.

This is where it gets exciting for us as God opens up His Gift of Hope unto us.

The Palm trees in Ezekial’s prophetic vision point us to Jesus riding on a colt to the praise of the people who lay palms on the ground to acknowledge Him as King. Sadly, they were blinded by human agenda, thinking Jesus was the one to destroy Roman oppression. They missed the point that Jesus’ Kingdom was the entire universe into eternity and was being built from within the heart of man. A Kingdom granted by choosing to follow its God-Given Messiah King. Not a Kingdom taken by man’s perspective of how that should be done.

GOD IS GOD AND WE TAKE OUR COMMAND FROM HIM.

But what a joyous command it is.

The psalmist is prophetically pointing us to the work of the palm that acknowledges a King- Jesus- who is victorious in His endeavor to create THE WAY, THE LIFE, THE TRUTH by which we are saved. The psalmist is teaching us that as the palm would acknowledge King Jesus, our lives following Jesus in faith and obedience to Him would be like a palm acknowledging The King.

AAAAAAAAND, BECAUSE THE KING WINS, WE WILL WIN THROUGH HIM.

How?

Ezekial’s prophetic vision in Ezekial 41 is not only prophetic about Jesus, it is prophetic about us. We will be transformed from our human body, hence the human face, into what The Lion of Judah- Jesus- was transformed into when He Returns. The ornamental decor in the Holy of Holies in the Temple that God showed Ezekial is God’s Throne. The incredible thing is that Ezekial, the prophet-priest, never got to fulfill his term as priest, so God gave Ezekial a glimpse into the future of how his service to God would be counted as part of the building blocks of The Royal Priesthood under Jesus THEE HIGH PRIEST MESSIAH KING- THE LION OF JUDAH.

This beautiful Monday, God is calling us, as He did with Ezekial, to look beyond our current circumstance to the end goal which is transformation into glorification. Remember Ezekial was in exile and had been struck mute by God for 7 years as an act of prophecy to teach the people who gave God lip-service but no faith in action through obedience.

God is reaching out across generations, throughout time, through prophet-priest Ezekial by recording him in The Holy Bible, reminding us that The Chosen One- Jesus- who was from the beginning is the author and finisher, and as we keep our eyes on Him, He will lead us on The Way into the final destination of being in the Holy of Holies, eternally, where we actually belong.

Not only that, but total transformation unto glorification, as is Jesus, is a rather intriguing bit of excitement that gets my spirit jumping with joy as I wish away the time until Jesus Returns to know what that experience is like.

What I can say is that having the sensation that my physical body feels like it melts into quantum foam particles when God draws me into that deep spiritual place, I can only fist-pump the air with joy because if being transformed into a heavenly body means being able to melt through, time, space, and matter, I want to know. Don’t you?

Again, as God is saying to us through Ezekial 41, “Chin up. Eyes forward. Lilt in your step. Power in your execution of Godly intention. Go with joy.”
